The "We recommend using a passkey that is 8 to 16 digits long" message does not disappear as expected in Windows XP (886912)

SYMPTOMS
When you click Let me choose my own passkey in the Add Bluetooth Device Wizard on a Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2-based computer, you are prompted with the following message in a balloon dialog box:
We recommend using a passkey that is 8 to 16 digits long.
When you click Back, the message does not disappear as expected.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, wait until the message disappears. You can expect the message to disappear after five seconds.
Note You can safely ignore this problem. This problem does not affect the functionality of the Add Bluetooth Device Wizard.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
