After you apply the service pack or the hotfix for Exchange Server 2003 or Exchange 2000 Server, you must add the RFC2047Compliant registry entry to implement the update. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then press ENTER.
- Locate and then right-click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\ParametersSystem\InternetContent\
- Point to New, and then click DWORD value.
- Type RFC2047Compliant to name the new value, and then press ENTER.
- Right-click RFC2047Compliant, and then click Modify.
- In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK.
- Exit Registry Editor.
