article describes the Microsoft Office Excel 2003 issue that is fixed in the
Excel 2003 post-Service Pack 1 hotfix package that is dated September 24, 2004.

following issue is fixed in this hotfix package but was not previously
documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- When you use the scroll wheel on your mouse or trackball to
scroll the text in a TextBox control on an Excel 2003 worksheet, Excel 2003 may
stop responding or crash.
