You are using Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX 3.5. When you compile and then link template classes that have static members that are declared inside the static functions, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:

RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
