MORE INFORMATION

DRM backup and restore permits DRM licenses that have the AllowBackupRestore right set to be backed up and then later restored to the same computer or to a different computer. When you restore DRM licenses, the player automatically contacts a Microsoft service to restore the license. You have to do this to limit fraud and to rebind licenses to the restoring computer.
