CAUSEThis problem occurs when the SMS virtual device property dialog box is not correctly updated with the current driver version. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, click Driver Details on the Driver tab in the SMS virtual device property dialog box to view the current driver version for the SMS virtual driver. To do this, follow these steps. Note Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
- On the SMS client computer that has the SMS Remote Control Agent installed, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click System.
- In the System Properties dialog box, click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
- In Device Manager, expand any device that has an SMS virtual device listed. For example, expand Display Adapters, right-click Microsoft SMS Mirror Driver, and then click Properties.
