Ccmsetup.exe cannot access the shared source on the management point after you updated the Advanced Client Network Access Account setting to the correct account (886036)

SYMPTOMS
After you update the Advanced Client Network Access Account setting from an incorrect account to the correct account, Ccmsetup.exe cannot access the shared source on the management point. This problem occurs if the following conditions are true: - You are trying to upgrade a Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003 (SMS 2003) client from an earlier version of the Advanced Client to a newer version.
- An incorrect account was provided in the Advanced Client Network Access Account setting in the Software Distribution Properties dialog box on the site server. You updated the setting to the correct account.
Additionally, an error message that is similar to the following is written to the Ccmsetup.log in the \ %systemroot%\System32\Ccmsetup folder: Source \\Server\SMSCLIENT\I386 is inaccessible (1326)
Failed to find accessible source. Waiting for retry.
Next retry in 10 minute(s)... CAUSEThis problem occurs because Ccmsetup.exe does not poll the local Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) to verify whether the Advanced Client Network Access Account setting has been updated on the client computer.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, run Ccmsetup.exe again on the client computer. Or, distribute an advertisement with Ccmsetup.exe to the client computer again to perform the Advanced Client installation.STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.REFERENCES
