SYMPTOMS
When you try to open another user's folder by clicking the
Open Other User's Folder option on the
File menu in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, you may receive the following error message:
unable to display the folder
Less frequently, you may also receive this error message when you try to open another user's folder by clicking a folder in the Outlook 2003 navigation pane.
RESOLUTION
Service pack information
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange Server 2003. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Hotfix information

Prerequisites
Because of file dependencies, this hotfix requires one of the following:
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
- Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 3 (SP3)
Restart requirement
- Exchange Server 2003: You will be prompted to stop and to restart the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service (Store.exe) when you install this hotfix.
- Exchange 2000 Server: The Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store service may automatically stop and then start again when you install this hotfix.
Hotfix replacement information
This hotfix does not replace any other software updates.

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time.
