SYMPTOMS
If you add a control to a Microsoft Windows Form, and the control has a property type of double, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following when you build the solution:
At least one element in the source array could not be cast down to the destination array type.
This problem occurs on a computer that has the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 installed. The error occurs if the double property is set to a large value that appears in the code as scientific notation.
