FIX: Transcriber toolbar buttons are shown incorrectly in Windows CE .NET 4.2 (885852)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Transcriber Letter Shape Selector, the Close toolbar button and the Help toolbar button appear as blank images or as incorrect images.

CAUSE

An application calls the CommandBar_AddAdornments function two times. This causes undefined results. The application must only call the CommandBar_AddAdornments function one time.

RESOLUTION

Software update information

Prerequisites

This update is supported only if all previously issued updates for this product have also been installed.

Restart requirement

After you install this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole operating system. To perform a clean build of the operating system, follow these steps:
  1. On the Build menu, click Clean.
  2. On the Build menu, click Build Platform.
You do not have to restart your computer after you apply this update.
