The Tasks folder is not visible when you expand the <Tasks> node in the MOM 2005 Administrator console (885737)

SYMPTOMSYou use Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 to import a Management Pack that contains a custom task. Although the custom task is successfully imported, the Tasks folder is not visible when you expand the <Tasks> node in the MOM 2005 Administrator console.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, you may have to update the Tasks folder in the MOM 2005 Administrator console. To do this, follow these steps: - Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Operations Manager 2005, and then click Administrator Console.
- In the MOM 2005 Administrator console, expand Microsoft Operations Manager (ServerName).
Note In this step, ServerName is the name of the MOM 2005 Management server. - Expand Management Packs, right-click Tasks, and then click Refresh
The Tasks folder is visible.
