SYMPTOMS

You cannot publish recordings to a Microsoft Office Live Meeting Conference Center server other than the one where your Conference Center is hosted. For example, if you host a Live Meeting Conference Center in New York, you may want to publish recordings to a Conference Center that is hosted in Europe. You may want to do this if European users experience a latency issue. However, you cannot publish recordings to the Conference Center server in Europe if your Conference Center is hosted in New York.

CAUSE

Live Meeting publishes recordings on the Conference Center where they are created.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, use the Conference Center recording download function to download a recording, and then publish it to a separate Web server or distribute it as you choose. To download a recording in Live Office:
  1. Log on to your Live Meeting Conference Center.
  2. On the My Home page, click Recordings under Manage in the Navigation pane.
  3. Locate the recording that you want to download on the MANAGE RECORDINGS page, and then click Edit next to that recording.
  4. On the RECORDING DETAILS page, click Download next to Microsoft Office Live Meeting Replay.

Note To enable the recording download feature, click to select the Microsoft Office Live Meeting Replay check box under Recording Playback Formats on the Meeting Preferences page.
