You receive a "Can't open file" error message when you try to send a meeting invitation in Microsoft Office Live Meeting (885589)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to use the Microsoft Office Live Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Outlook to send a meeting invitation in Microsoft Office Live Meeting, you may receive the following error message: Can't open file: temporary internet file folder location. The file may not exist, you may not have permission to open it, or it may be open in another program. Right-click the folder that contains the file, and then click Properties to check your permissions for the folder. CAUSEThis issue may occur because of a cached version of the invitation that resides in the Temporary Internet Files folder.RESOLUTIONNote Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
To resolve this issue, follow these steps: - Start Microsoft Internet Explorer.
- On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
- On the General tab, click Settings.
- Under Check for newer versions of stored pages, click Every visit to the page, and then click OK.
- On the General tab, click Delete Files.
- Click OK to confirm that you want to delete the files in the Temporary Internet Files folder.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- In the Security section under Settings, click to select the Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed check box, and then click OK.
