The arrow in a row header does not appear as expected after you click a column header to sort data in a Windows Forms DataGrid control (885459)

SYMPTOMS

When you click a column header to sort data in a Microsoft Windows Forms DataGrid control, you may experience one of the following symptoms:
  • The arrow in the row header does not point to the correct record.
  • Arrows appear in the two row headers for two distinct records.

RESOLUTION

Software update information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article.
