SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services, if your calculated members contain the Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) CDate function, you may experience slow performance when you perform Multidimensional Expression (MDX) queries.

Note This hotfix adds support for the CDate function in Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) as an intrinsic function instead of the external VBA CDate function.
