To share a presenters desktop in Live Meeting 2003, follow these steps:
  1. Log on to Live Meeting 2003 with administrator permissions.
  2. use one of the following methods:
    • To let a presenter share their desktop in a new meeting, follow these steps:
      1. In the left navigation pane, click Preferences under Manage.
      2. In the left navigation pane, click Meeting under Preferences.
      3. Under Application Sharing, click Enabled for Desktop and Single Application.
      4. Click Submit.
    • To let a presenter share their desktop in an existing meeting, follow these steps:
      1. Log on to Live Meeting 2003 with administrator permissions.
      2. In the left navigation pane, click Meetings under Manage.
      3. Locate your existing meeting, and then click Edit.
      4. Next to Advanced Meeting Options, click Edit.
      5. Under Application Sharing, click Enabled for Desktop and Single Application.
      6. Click Submit.
  3. Log on to Live Meeting 2003 with presenter permissions.
  4. On the Insert menu, click Sharing Slide.
  5. In the Sharing Setup dialog box, click The entire desktop, and then click OK.

    Note A Sharing toolbar will appear.
  6. Do one or more of the following steps:
    • To start sharing your desktop, click Start.
    • To stop sharing your desktop, click Stop.
    • To pause sharing your desktop so that you can show a different slide in your meeting, click Pause.
    • To give control of your desktop to a different member of your meeting, click Give Control, click the member that you want to control your desktop, and then click Select.
    Note A presenter can immediately stop sharing the desktop by pressing ESC.
