Use one of the following methods to show a Web site in Live Meeting 2003.

Method 1: Insert a Web slide

To insert a Web slide into a specific Web site, follow these steps.

Note All the members of your meeting can interactively click links in the Web slide.
  1. Log on to your meeting by using presenter permissions.
  2. In the meeting console, click Web Slide on the Insert menu.
  3. In the New Web Slide dialog box, type a valid URL to the Web page that you want to show in your meeting.
  4. Click Verify Web Slide.
  5. Click Create Web Slide.

Method 2: Share Microsoft Internet Explorer

To show a Web site so that you can control what is viewed on the Web site, follow these steps.

Note Members of your meeting cannot interactively click links in the shared slide.
  1. Start Internet Explorer, and then open the Web site that you want to show in your meeting.
  2. Log on to your meeting by using presenter permissions.
  3. In the meeting console, click Sharing Slide on the Insert menu.
  4. In the Sharing Setup dialog box, click A specific application, click your instance of Internet Explorer, and then click OK.

    Note A Sharing toolbar will appear.
  5. Do one or more of the following on the Sharing toolbar:
    • To show the Web site, click Start.
    • To stop showing the Web site, click Stop.
    • To pause showing the Web site so that you can show a different slide, click Pause.
    • To give control of the shared slide to a different member of your meeting, click Give Control, click the member who you want to give control to, and then click Select.
