This article describes how to turn off the Chat feature for your Auditorium Place type meeting in Microsoft Office Live Meeting Conference Center 2000.

Note You cannot turn off the Chat feature in a Web Meeting Place type meeting in Live Meeting Conference Center 2000.

To turn off the Chat feature for your Auditorium Place type meeting in Live Meeting Conference Center 2000, follow these steps:
  1. Log on to your Live Meeting as a presenter.
  2. In the Live Meeting console, click Controls.
  3. On the Chat tab, click Yes next to Audience Chat Allowed.
  4. Close the Microsoft Controls dialog box.
