Users are removed from the Assigned To box after you modify the name of the Assigned To column on the Issues page in the French version of Microsoft Project Server 2002 (885271)

SYMPTOMSIn the French version of Microsoft Project Server 2002, you experience the following symptoms after you modify the name of the Assigned To column on the Issues page of your project in Microsoft Project Web Access: - The user name that is listed in the Assigned To column for an issue is incorrect.
- If you click Edit Issue to modify the issue, (None) is listed in the Assigned To box, the user names that were previously listed in the Assigned To box are missing. Therefore, you cannot assign a user to the issue.
RESOLUTIONHow to obtain the hotfixThis issue is fixed in the Microsoft Project Server 2002 post-Service Pack 1 Hotfix Package that is dated September 9, 2004. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: 885251 Description of the Microsoft Project Server 2002 post-Service Pack 1 hotfix package: September 9, 2004 After you apply this hotfix, you do not experience the symptoms that are described in the "Symptoms" section in new SharePoint Team Services from Microsoft subwebs that are created for published projects. This hotfix does not apply to existing subwebs. To resolve the problem for existing subwebs, delete, and then re-create the subweb. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
