INTRODUCTION

This article describes the Microsoft Office Access 2003 issues that are fixed in the French version of the Access 2003 post-Service Pack 1 hotfix package that is dated September 30, 2004.

Issues that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issue. This issue was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • When you run the Expression Builder in a form in Access 2003, there are two Cancel (Annuler) buttons instead of one Cancel button and one Undo (Effacer) button.

    This issue may occur when you are running either of the following programs:
    • The French version of Microsoft Office Access 2003.
    • The English version of Microsoft Office Access 2003 and the Microsoft Office 2003 French Multilingual User Interface (MUI) Pack.
    For more information about the Expression Builder, click Microsoft Office Access Help on the Help menu, type expression builder in the Search for box in the Assistance pane, and then click Start searching to view the topic.

To install this hotfix, you must have the Office 2003 Service Pack 1 for Multilingual User Interface Pack Service Pack 1 installed.

  • The full-file version of this hotfix is also the administrative version of this hotfix. You can install this version of the hotfix on a computer that is running Office 2003 with SP1 installed or without SP1 installed. However, we have tested this hotfix more extensively on Office 2003 with SP1 than we have on Office 2003 without SP1. If you install this hotfix on a computer that is running Office 2003 without SP1, some file conflicts might occur. We support this configuration, but we do not recommend this configuration.
