SYMPTOMS

When you try to schedule a meeting in Microsoft Office Live Meeting, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:
Your request for meeting size number has exceeded your seat license. Number seats are available for this meeting time.
In the error message, number is a placeholder for the number of meeting seats.

CAUSE

This issue occurs if the number of seats that you requested is larger than the number of seats that are available under your company's Live Meeting license.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, use any one of the following workarounds:
  • Request fewer seats when you schedule your meeting.
  • Move your meeting to another time when there are more seats available under your license agreement.
  • If you must schedule a meeting on a specific date for a number of seats that is larger than the number of seats that are available at that time under your license agreement, contact the Live Meeting administrator. It might be possible to reschedule another meeting to make more seats available for your meeting.
  • If you must request more seats for a meeting than are available under the license for your company, contact your Live Meeting administrator to determine whether the administrator can purchase more seats for your company license from a Live Meeting sales representative.
