SYMPTOMS

When you are invited to a meeting as an optional attendee and then you respond to the request in Microsoft Entourage 2004 for Mac, you may be listed as a required attendee in Microsoft Outlook.

CAUSE

This issue occurs if the following conditions are true:
  • The meeting request was created in Microsoft Outlook.
  • You were the first person to respond to the meeting request.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
