Tips for using a 56 Kbps modem to connect to Live Meeting 4.4 and Live Meeting 2003 (884953)

This article contains tips that can help make your 56 kilobits per second (Kbps) modem connection to a Microsoft Office Live Meeting 4.4 or a Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2003 session more successful.

To help make sure that you are successfully connected to a Microsoft Office Live Meeting session through a 56 Kbps modem connection, follow these steps:
  1. Start Microsoft Internet Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  3. On the General tab, click Delete Files in the Temporary Internet files area.
  4. Click OK to confirm the deletion of the files.
  5. Restart your computer.
  6. Start Internet Explorer.
    Note Do not start any programs other than your browser.
  7. Log on to Live Meeting by using the information that was sent to you in your e-mail invitation to the meeting.
