How to log off an unauthorized attendee from Live Meeting (884826)

INTRODUCTION

This article describes how to log off an unauthorized Microsoft Office Live Meeting attendee who has obtained meeting information and logged on to your session. This article includes steps to prevent attendees from re-entering your meeting.

To log off and to prevent an unauthorized attendee from re-entering your meeting, you must change the meeting password first, and then log off the unauthorized attendee.

To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Log on to your Live Meeting account as an Organizer or an Administrator.
  2. Under Manage, click Meetings, and then locate your meeting.
  3. Click Edit next to your meeting.
  4. On the Meeting Details page, click Edit next to Meeting Setup.
  5. On the Modify Meeting page, under Meeting Entry Control, change the Presenter or Attendee passwords.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. To log off an unauthorized attendee in Live Meeting, right-click the unauthorized attendee's name in the Attendees panel in your meeting console, and then click Eject.
Note As soon as you have changed the meeting password, attendees cannot re-enter your meeting. This is true even when they disconnect from the meeting. We recommend that you inform your authorized attendees of the new password.
