SYMPTOMS

When you use Domain Name System (DNS) on Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, and you view the Zone Aging/ Scavenging Properties dialog box in the properties of a zone, the date in the The zone becomes available for scavenging at area is set to a date that has already past. The date does not advance to the next interval time.

Note To view the The zone becomes available for scavenging at area of the Zone Aging/ Scavenging Properties dialog box, you must click to select the Advanced check box on the View menu in DNS.
