Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. File installation instructions

After you obtain this hotfix, following these steps:

Double-click 207264_YourLanguageVersion_i386_zip to extract the hotfix to the location that you want.
In the location where you extracted the hotfix to, double-click the setup.exe file to run the Setup program.
After the Setup program has finished, locate the updateEDI.sql file. This file is in the same location as the extracted files.
Use SQL Query Analyzer to run the UpdateEDI.sql file against the BizTalkEDIDB database.
Click Start, click Run, type Drive:\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004\EDI\Subsystem\CompEIF.exe, and then click OK.
Locate your extracted files, and then copy the Genins.exe file to the following location:
Drive:\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004\EDI\Subsystem
Restart the BizTalk Server Base EDI service.
