Ghost Recon does not support game controllers. However, you can use a game controller if it has profile software that allows keyboard commands to be associated with joystick buttons outside the game. If you want to use a joystick or a gamepad with Ghost Recon, you can only do so if your joystick or gamepad has software that lets you assign keyboard strokes to movement and buttons.
If your game does not directly support SideWinder game controllers, you may be able to use the Microsoft SideWinder Game Device software or the SideWinder game controller software to map keyboard commands to buttons on the SideWinder game controllers.
