When you use a Web-based program, your computer may be disconnected from the Live Meeting 2003 (884080)

SYMPTOMS

When you are using a Web-based program during a Microsoft Office Live Meeting session, your computer may be disconnected unexpectedly from the meeting.

CAUSE

This behavior may occur if the Web-based program does not open in a new Microsoft Internet Explorer window as expected. Instead, the program opens in the Live Meeting window.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, specify that programs must open in a new Internet Explorer window. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  3. In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
  4. under Browsing, click to clear the Reuse windows for launching shortcuts check box, and then click OK.
This article applies to Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2000 and to Microsoft Live Meeting 2003.
