You cannot monitor your presentation in Live Meeting (884077)

SYMPTOMS

If you are the presenter in a Microsoft Office Live Meeting version 4.x or version 5.x Web conference, and you share a program on your desktop, you may receive a message that is similar to one of the following in Live Meeting:

Message 1

Please wait for Sharing to begin.

Message 2

Now ShowingAdditionally, you cannot view the Web conference presentation as a member of the audience.

CAUSE

This behavior is by design.

WORKAROUND

To see what the members of the Web conference audience are seeing, join the Web conference on another computer as a member of the audience. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Type the following in a browser window, where companyname is the name of your company

    http://www113.placeware.com/cc/companyname/join

  2. Type your information in the Your Name, the Meeting ID, and the Password boxes, and then click submit.

MORE INFORMATION

In earlier versions of Microsoft Office Live Meeting, presenters were able to monitor the Web conference presentation from Live Meeting.
