The Live Meeting console may not open when you try to log on to Live Meeting 2003 (883861)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to log on to a meeting in Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2003, the Live Meeting console may not open or the console may open more slowly than expected.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, delete the temporary Internet files. Make sure that JavaScript is enabled in your browser.

To delete the temporary Internet files in Microsoft Internet Explorer, follow these steps:
  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  3. On the General tab, click Delete Files in the Temporary Internet files area.
  4. Click OK to confirm the deletion of the files.
To enable JavaScript, follow these steps:
  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  3. On the Security tab, click the zone that you are using--for example, click Internet or click Local Intranet zone.
  4. Click Custom Level.
  5. Under Scripting, locate Scripting of Java applets, click Enable, and then click OK.
