This issue occurs even though you can connect to Live Meeting events from a Solaris SPARCstation.

CAUSE

This issue occurs if you are using the Sun Microsystems Jump Start installed version of Netscape 4.7.6. When you run the Live Meeting browser check page to verify your Web browser, the Live Meeting browser check page delivers a false response that indicates that your Web browser is not compatible with the Live Meeting service.

RESOLUTION

You can ignore the warnings from the Live Meeting browser check page. The Sun Microsystems installation of Netscape 4.7.6 is compatible with the Live Meeting service. Your Web browser will be able to access Live Meeting events without any problems.

This issue does not occur with any other compatible version of Netscape on Solaris.
