How to delete meetings in Microsoft Office Live Meeting version 4.4 (883759)

INTRODUCTION

In Microsoft Office Live Meeting version 4.4, you can choose to delete one meeting at a time, or you can delete a group of meetings. When you delete a meeting, you also delete the meeting content, such as slide sets and annotations. However, saved recordings of the meeting are not deleted. If you delete a meeting when the meeting is active, the meeting is immediately stopped. This article describes how to delete meetings in Live Meeting.

To delete one meeting

To delete one meeting in your PlaceWare Conference Center, follow these steps:
  1. Log on as an organizer or as an administrator.
  2. Click Organize Meetings.
  3. In the Type column, click to select the check box that appears next to the meeting that you want to delete.
  4. Click Delete Selected Meetings.
  5. Click Delete.

To delete a group of meetings

To delete a group of meetings in your PlaceWare Conference Center, follow these steps:
  1. Log on as an organizer or as an administrator.
  2. Click Organize Meetings.
  3. If you want to filter the meetings that are listed, click any one of the following next to Show meetings:
    • Click All to list all meetings, including current meetings, future meetings, and past meetings.
    • Click Current/Future to list only meetings that are scheduled for today or for the future.
    • Click Past to list meetings that have a date in the past.
    • Click Ongoing to list ongoing meetings.
    You can also filter the list by using the search feature. To do this, type a search parameter in the Find meetings matching box, and then click Search. The search returns results that include the search parameter in the meeting description or in the meeting ID number.
  4. In the Type column, select the meetings that you want to delete:
    • Click to select the check box that appears next to each meeting that you want to delete.
    • If you want to delete all the meetings that appear on the page, click Select All.
  5. Click Delete Selected Meetings.
  6. Click Delete.
You can only delete meetings that appear on the current page. If you want to delete meetings that appear on multiple pages, you must delete the meetings that appear on the current page and then repeat the process for each additional page.
