SYMPTOMSAlerts are delayed for several minutes when Agent Discovery is run in Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005.CAUSEThis problem can occur if one of the following conditions is true:
- You install the MOM 2005 agents on many computers at the same time.
- You deploy a management pack that collects much discovery data from many agents at the same time. An example of a management pack that does this is an operating system management pack.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
