The Administrator console does not show the progress of a computer discovery scan in Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 (883343)

SYMPTOMS

The Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 Administrator console does not include a way to show the progress of a computer discovery scan. Therefore, when you run a computer discovery scan, another MOM administrator may unintentionally start another computer discovery scan before your computer discovery scan is completed.
