PRJ: Tasks Missing When Printing Monthly Calendar (88787)

SUMMARY

Specifying Manual Dates when printing a Monthly Calendar with tasks showing may cause the calendar to print with no tasks or with some tasks missing.

NOTE: The tasks that are missing do not include possible overflow tasks, which are printed on a separate page.

The Manual Dates option (available by clicking Print on the File menu) allows you to specify a range of dates for which you want information printed.

When specifying a range of dates for a Monthly Calendar, the dates entered act as a date range filter. For a task to be printed, both its Start and Finish dates have to be within the specified date range.

If you only want to print a specific range of dates (for example, all tasks occurring in the month of June), then preview the report first to locate the page numbers for the correct months, and only print those particular pages.

Overflow Tasks

Overflow tasks are tasks that will not fit within the height of the date box. To print a list of the tasks whose bars are not visible in the Calendar, follow these steps:

On the File menu, click Page Setup.
On the View tab, click to select the "Show Additional Tasks" check box.
Select the location where you want these task names to appear. If you select the Group By Day check box, the tasks are listed under date headings for each day on which the tasks occur.
