SYMPTOMSWhen you run Microsoft Project, you are missing either toolbars or menu items. When you double-click a Project file, Project may not open or read the file.CAUSEThis problem occurs when multiple versions of Project are installed on your computer. The global template for Project is not overwritten when you install a new version of Project. The Project files are associated with the last version of Project that you installed on your computer.STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, we recommend that you do not install multiple versions of Project on the same computer.
