The Access Conversion Scanning Tool does not collect Access properties information for Access databases (875288)

SYMPTOMSThe Access Conversion Scanning Tool (Adscanner.exe) is included with the Microsoft Office Access 2003 Conversion Toolkit. The Access Conversion Scanning Tool is designed to collect information about the Access databases on your computer. When you run the Access Conversion Scanning Tool, you may notice that the Access Conversion Scanning Tool does not collect information that corresponds to the Microsoft Access properties for the Access databases on your computer.
This problem occurs although you specify the /acc:on command-line argument when you start the Access Conversion Scanning Tool at the command prompt.
Note The /acc:on command-line argument explicitly indicates that the Access Conversion Scanning Tool must collect information about the Access properties for the Access databases that are on your computer.CAUSEThis problem occurs if an incorrect version of Access is installed on your computer that is running the Access Conversion Scanning Tool.
This problem also occurs if Microsoft Access is not installed on your computer that is running the Access Conversion Scanning Tool.RESOLUTIONTo collect information about the Access properties for the Access databases on your computer, the Access Conversion Scanning Tool requires that Microsoft Access 95 or later is installed on your computer. Therefore, you must use one of the following methods to resolve this problem: - Install Microsoft Access 95 or later on your computer that is running the Access Conversion Scanning Tool.
- Run the Access Conversion Scanning Tool from a computer that already has Microsoft Access 95 or later installed.
