Single page Works Spreadsheet prints on multiple pages in Works Suite 2003 (873285)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Works Suite 2003

SYMPTOMS

When you print a single page Works Spreadsheet, the spreadsheet prints on multiple pages not on one page. This problem occurs even though the Print Preview of the spreadsheet in Microsoft Works Suite 2003 displays only one page.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when the printer drivers are out of date or when there is a problem spooling the print file before printing the spreadsheet.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use one of the following methods.

Update your printer drivers

Contact the manufacturer of your printer to see if new versions of the printer drivers are available.

Print directly to the printer

This method lets you configure the printer so that you can print directly to the printer from all programs. This method causes the program to pause until the document has completed printing or downloading into the printer memory.
  1. Click Start, and then click Printer and Faxes.
  2. Right-click the printer icon, and then click Properties.
  3. Click the Advance tab.
  4. Click Print directly to the printer, and then click OK.
Note Not all the printers can be set to Print directly to the printer. If the printer is shared from a print server, all the print files that are sent to this printer will be spooled.
