SYMPTOMS

When you try to view a slide in Microsoft Office Live Meeting, you cannot see the whole slide without scrolling.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when your monitor is set to a screen resolution that is less than 1024 x 768.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, use one of the following methods.

Method 1

Have the attendees set the screen resolution to 1024 x 768 or more. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Display.
  2. In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab.
  3. Change the Screen resolution to a size of 1024 x 768 or more, and then click OK.

Method 2

Export your Microsoft PowerPoint presentation by using the PlaceWare Add-in for PowerPoint, and then select a smaller slide size. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Start PowerPoint, and then open your presentation.
  2. On the PlaceWare menu, click Export as a PlaceWare Slide Set.
  3. In the Export as a PlaceWare Slide Set dialog box, type the file name that you want to use for the slide set.
  4. In the Save as type box, click PlaceWare v2-3 (480x360) slides (*.pwp) for the size, and then click Save.
Note The PlaceWare Add-in for PowerPoint has the following three options for slide sets:
  • PlaceWare high color (704x528)
  • PlaceWare CC2000 (704x528)
  • PlaceWare v2-3 (480x360)
When you export a slide set by using Method 2, the exported slide set is smaller and more viewable on a monitor with a resolution that is set to 800 x 600.
