You receive the "Network failure during upload: Connection reset" error message when you try to upload files to the Live Meeting PlaceWare server (873026)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to upload files to the Microsoft Office Live Meeting PlaceWare server, you may receive the following error message:
Network failure during upload: Connection reset.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when your firewall or proxy server detects that the PlaceWare server is sending back incremental progress information to the uploading client. Because the firewall or the proxy server assumes that no more data will be sent to the server, the connection is prematurely closed.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, send e-mail to Support@PlaceWare.com so that they can investigate and resolve this problem.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
