The console does not load, and you do not receive a hyperlink when you try to log on to Live Meeting (871033)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to log on to Microsoft Office Live Meeting, the console does not load, and you do not receive a hyperlink to open the Java console.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the Internet security settings are set to high and are preventing ActiveX Controls from running in Microsoft Internet Explorer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, change the Internet security settings in Internet Explorer to the default settings. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  3. On the Security tab, click Internet in the Select a Web content zone to specify its security settings area.
  4. Click Default Level.
  5. Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.
  6. On the File menu, click Exit, and then restart Internet Explorer.
  7. Log on to your Live Meeting.
