SYMPTOMSWhen you view the Manage Security settings for a subarea page on a server that is running SharePoint Portal Server 2003, you may find a user permission entry or a group permission entry that has a blank value for the user name or the group name, but the Permissions for this area have rights associated with it.RESOLUTIONThis problem is corrected in Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Service Pack 1. To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003.
