INTRODUCTION
This article describes the Microsoft Excel 2000 issues that are fixed in the Excel 2000 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package that is dated June 18, 2004.

The following issues are fixed in this hotfix package, but they were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- When you programmatically create a query in MSQuery that contains a parameter query, Excel 2000 may quit unexpectedly, and you receive the following error message:
Microsoft Excel has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you view the details of the error message, you receive an error signature that is similar to the following:

- If you programmatically start Excel 2000, and then run a macro while the workstation is locked, you may receive the following error message when you unlock the workstation:
Not enough System resources to display completely.
After the error message disappears, additional macros and processes will not run.
