You receive the "Error when creating site. Site does not seem to exist" in Project Server 2003 (867741)

SYMPTOMSMicrosoft Windows SharePoint Services subsites are not created automatically when you publish projects to Microsoft Office Project Server 2003. If you try to manually create a Windows SharePoint Services subsite, you receive the following error message:
Error when creating site. Site does not seem to exist. CAUSEThis problem occurs if there is not an e-mail address in the Site Owner field on the Site Provisioning Settings page in the Manage Windows SharePoint Services section of Project Web Access (PWA).RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, follow these steps: - Log on to PWA with administrator rights.
- Click the Admin link.
- Click the Manage Windows SharePoint Services link.
- Click the Site Provisioning Settings link.
- Enter a valid e-mail address in the Site Owner field.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
