The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Office Live Meeting

SYMPTOMS

When you connect to a Microsoft Office Live Meeting by using your Web browser, you may not see any audio conference call information. You also may not see any audio conference call information in the e-mail invitation.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the meeting organizer does not configure audio information for the meeting.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem if the meeting organizer does not provide audio information in the e-mail invitation, contact the meeting organizer about how to configure audio information for the meeting. If the meeting presenter has turned on the Questions and Answers feature in Live Meeting, you can use this feature to ask the presenter about the audio conference call information.

MORE INFORMATION

Some Web conferences offer streaming audio and require that you install a third-party browser plug-in. The URL for the streaming audio source should be included in your meeting or in your e-mail invitation.

Some Web conferences provide audio by using a third-party conference call that may require that you have an additional voice phone line if you are using a dial-up networking connection. You can connect to the audio portion by dialing the conference call telephone number as soon as your browser connects to the Web conference.
