You receive a "Page cannot be displayed" error message when you browse the Internet from the guest operating system in Virtual PC for Mac (867514)

SYMPTOMS
When you try to use a Web browser in the guest operating system to browse the Internet, you receive the following error message:
Page cannot be displayed
CAUSE
You may experience this issue if there is a packet conflict on the Internet service provider (ISP).
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, follow these steps:
- Quit the Windows guest operating system.
- Click Virtual PC, and then click Preferences.
- Click Scripting, and then click to select the Show Scripts Menu check box.
- Click OK.
- Click Scripts, and then click Set Networking Type.
- When you receive the following message, click OK: This script is a troubleshooting tool, and should generally only be run when instructed to do so by Microsoft
- When you receive the following message, click Change: The PC PC_Name is currently configured to use Shared Packet networking. Would you like to change the networking setting?
- Click Shared Sockets, click OK, and then click Done.
- Start the Windows guest operating system, and then verify that you do not receive the error message that is mentioned in the "Symptoms" section.
