SYMPTOMS

When you try to move a button in Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003 Service Pack 1, a problem may occur. Rules may be lost when you move the button in a section from one view to another view by using the cut-and-paste feature.

WORKAROUND

To keep the rules when you move a button in a section from one view to another view, follow these steps:
  1. Copy the button.
  2. Paste the button in another view.
  3. Delete the original button.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
