Cannot assign accounts based on the territory in Microsoft CRM version 1.0. (860757)

SYMPTOMS
Workflow rules do not permit you to assign accounts based on the territory in Microsoft CRM version 1.0.
CAUSE
In the properties of the Account Object the field name is "territoryid", but the Workflow Rule calls for "territorycode" and "territoryid" is not listed as a Field Option.
RESOLUTION
Add the territorycode field to the Account Object Form through the System Customizations in Microsoft CRM.
1. In Microsoft CRM click Home, select Settings and then click System Customizations.
2. Click the Account Object.
3. Click Customize Form.
4. Click the Details tab.
5. Click Add Fields.
6. Under Name type "territorycode"
7. Under Label you can specify any name to represent your Territory Field.
8. Click the Values tab.
9. Select Default and change Default to the name of the first Territory in your Microsoft CRM environment.
10. Add the additional Territories in your environment.
11. Publish Customizations by completing the following steps:
a. Open Deployment Manager. Click Start, select Programs, point to Microsoft CRM and click on Deployment Manager. Right-click on Deployment Manager and select All Tasks and then select Publish Customization.
b. Select the objects you want to publish and select Next.
c. Add the Microsoft CRM server where changes are published to and select Finish.
12. Complete an IISRESET from the run line. Click Start, click Run, type IISRESET in the Open dialog box, and then click OK. It is recommended to re-start IIS after publishing all customizations.
You will now have a pick list of your Territory Names available in Workflow.
Note The Territory Name and Description fields are available in Workflow Manager on Microsoft CRM version 1.2.
