This article was previously published under Q85488 SUMMARY
Microsoft Works for Windows controls where a page break will actually be placed when the page break would normally occur in the first two lines of a paragraph or in the last two lines of a paragraph. If a page break would normally occur between the first two lines of a paragraph, Works will force the first line onto the next page. If a page break would normally occur between the last two lines of a paragraph, Works will force the last line onto the previous page.
This is an automatic feature of Works for Windows; there is no way to disable this feature.
