The Setup program or the game may not start when you try to install or to play Zoo Tycoon (842949)


The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Zoo Tycoon: Complete Collection
  • Microsoft Zoo Tycoon: Dinosaur Digs Expansion Pack
  • Microsoft Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania Expansion Pack

SYMPTOMS

When you try to install or to play Microsoft Zoo Tycoon by inserting the Microsoft Zoo Tycoon: Dinosaur Digs Expansion Pack disc, the Setup program or the game may not start. If you try to start the Setup program, the program does not run.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you have Microsoft Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania Expansion Pack or Microsoft Zoo Tycoon: Complete Collection installed.

RESOLUTION

To play Zoo Tycoon, insert the Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania disc 2 disc, or insert the Zoo Tycoon: Complete Collection disc 2 disc. Zoo Tycoon: Dinosaurs Digs is included with both of these discs.
